Another Pin Question

Hi,
I was wondering if you can purchase just the lanyards for the Disney Pins? I am totally new to this and feel completely clueless. I did purchase pins on ebay for our upcoming trip and I would love to also have the lanyards for our kiddos. Also could anyone tell me the cost? Where is the best place to purchase?

I haven't ever found the lanyards anywhere except in WDW. They have them everywhere pins are sold. They sell them separately or as starter sets. There are different colors and designs and you can customize them by getting a "Lanyard Topper" which are basically medallions that clip on to the lanyard. I think the lanyards start at $5 but I don't remember about the medallions/toppers

Hot Topic and Claire's Boutique at our local mall carries Disney lanyards that are much softer than the traditional lanyards that you get at WDW. They cause less irritation to the neck, but just don't last longer than about one good 10 day trip with heavy trading. They run anywhere from $2 on clearance to about $7 at a non-discounted rate. Just started with pins too and someone on the boards suggested putting them in a backpack or whatever cuz they easily fall off the lanyards with the normal backings and the locking backings are supposed to be a hassle.
