Another park hopper (plus) question

Just curious......

Let's say you buy 7 day park hopper plus tickets for your family (2 adults, 3 children).

Now let's say you use the 7 days in the park (either now or saving some for the future- that part doesn't matter in my question) but on the plus parts of the ticket you use only 2 plus options per person because you go to the water parks during your stay (each water park once, per person in the family)

Would it then be "illegal" for the adults in the family to use the remaining plus options of the tickets to go to pleasure island or use any of the plus options without the children?

I don't think I'm explaining that right. What I'm saying is I realize they are supposed to be "nontransferable" but since ofcourse money is not going to change hands since the ones PAYING for the tickets would be US to begin with (not our minor children LOL I wish.... LOL) -would it be illegal to use plus options on their tickets?

Or would that be a nono because they are children's tickets? Then would it be okay if we used the plus options left over on a ticket for our minor child AFTER she's 10 and therefore we paid the adult price for her ticket?

Just curious. Because I'm trying to figure out the best way to buy our tickets for our next trip. We already all have one day left over on our previous park hoppers. But this time I wanted to buy park hopper plus tickets so we could take advantage of the water parks in the hotter weather we'll be having then. However, to buy enough days for our trip we'd end up with extra plus options left over and it just seemed stupid to THEN leave those extra plus options on the tickets yet turn around and pay for entrance into PI or something.

What do you think?

Interesting question. On past visits, our son would use one Plus to hit PI with us, then not use Plusses again. On later visits, we used his unused Plusses for us and guests to go to PI, but he was 13 and older, not a 'Child'. I don't know if the WDW system would distinguish between a child Plus and an adult one. As to the non-transferable issue, I paid for the Plus, and I use it as I see fit, rules be damned. In the future we'll be taking our grand daughter with us and I doubt she'll be going to PI with us, so I'd like to get the answer to this so we can use her Plusses too.

ps. Save the 'Flames' for someone who cares.

Thank you.
I can see where the differences might arise if you paid for CHILD PHP vs. adult ones... but when it comes to a minor child YOU paid for the adult ticket for them- I really don't get where it would be a problem to use their plus options. It's not like I'm using someone else's really- it's mine. I paid for it. I don't get the concept of thinking that it's now my child's (even with an adult pass they have that I paid for) and thus I'm not allowed to use it. That just doesn't make sense to me. I paid for it.

So that's why I asked. I wasn't sure if that was a big no-no or what. You never can tell. Although now in hindsight maybe I should just ask Disney this and save myself a flaming for asking. But honestly just kinda curious if anyone else had ever done this- so I thank you for your reply. :)

My only concern here, if I were to use a child Plus, is that WDW would know that it was a 'child' Plus. Child tix, below a certain age, cost less, so Disney might give you a hassle trying to enter as an adult into an attraction on a child pass, even if it's a Plus. I'm still interested in knowing the answer as I'll use my grand daughter's Plusses if I can.

according to some and following disney's rule, technically this would not be allowed either. hence my arguement on the "other" thread the system is somewhat flawed. As far as the question about the child's plus ticket when she becomes an "adult"; I would think that would be the same as any other childs ticket in that we she becomes an adult in disney's eyes, they will upgrade that ticket to an adult one at no charge.
