I'd agree with PP - go with a warmer color. We sold our house a couple of years ago, and originally thought that white would be great - giving the new owners a clean slate to work with. But, no one was interested in our house, until we had a "stager" come through, who explained that people couldn't picture themselves living in the house with all white walls, since it seemed to institutional. Once we painted warm wall colors, we had people expressing interest and sold the house.
