Another Newbie Joins Today

Hello from Texas!

I've enjoyed reading these boards over the past weeks and am looking forward to becoming a part of the community.

I visited Disney World for the first time in 1996, when I took a rather large high school orchestra there to perform at EPCOT. It was pretty much a whirlwind tour.

After 11 years, I finally made the decision to go back by myself in May of 2007 and I got to see all the things I missed during that short trip in 1996.

I must have had a good time back in May because I will be going back in December. The countdown is on!

I've enjoyed reading the stories and opinions here. This board is a great resource!

Welcome to you too Sherm! The Disney planning will be worth it, I'm sure.

I'm going solo, so I really haven't put much effort into the planning. I suppose I need to make some restaurant reservations before too much more time passes by. Other than that, I am going to "play it by ear" and just do what the heck I feel like doing - within the limits of general decorum and of course, the law.

When I went in May, my trip was a spur of the moment thing - I had a great time.
