Another MVMCP Question

I thought I had heard you dont need park admission in order to attend MVMCP, just the ticket for the party. But, I was just on the WDW site and on the page about MVMCP, under "Additional Information" it says "Theme park admission required".
Anyone have info on this? Is it a misprint or do you think this is something new for this year?

The only way you need seperate admission is if you want to gain access to the park prior to 4pm. You can get in with your MVMCP ticket after 4pm and that's all you need.

It would sure turn into a big rip-off if they started charging for a ticket and park admission too!

Thats what I thought too, but it does say that. There seems to be a tiny something, maybe an asterisk (its too tiny for me to make out) next to it, but I cant find any notation as to what it is or what it means. This is strange.

We got into MK for MVMCP on MVMCP ticket alone a little after 4pm.We went to table by City Hall and got wrist band and after start of MVMCP only those with the bands can do attractions.

Your MVMCP ticket is your park admission. I think what they might be trying to say is it is not included in any package or room deals, you have to buy a ticket.

Yep, that's what it means. I had the same issue last Dec. When I asked a CM she told me that they have to say that otherwise people will think it's like the afternoon parade...free to all. So, if you are going into MK for just MVMCP, your MVMCP ticket is your pass, at least after 4 pm or so.
