Another Magic Band Question...

We've decided to return to Disney this year. We went our first and only time last September and I did EXTENSIVE research and planning for that trip. We did free dining then so we got magic bands with our package.

I haven't done nearly as much planning and research for this year's trip. Time has gotten away from me! This year we are staying off site and one additional person is going with us. I purchased our tickets from the Disney website and got a message saying our magic band package was on the way.

I wasn't expecting magic bands this year since we only purchased tickets. I planned to link our tickets to our bands from last year and had actually already purchased a separate magic band from Disneystore.com for the extra person going with us this year.

Will I be getting 5 magic bands, 1 magic band, or was the statement just a glitch with the system?

No MagicBands will be sent to you for an off-site stay.

Nope, just a glitch. Actually check the date, it is likely it the same tracking number you got last year. They system likes to tell me I have magic bands on the way. lol

As for "linking" the bands. As long as the tickets are showing up on your MDE, the bands have them right now. There is nothing to link.

Yea it's just your old notification popping up again. You don't have MB's on the way, nor do you have the option to customize.
