Another Luggage Question

We are doing the land and sea vacation - staying 3 nights first at wilderness lodge, then the 4-day cruise. How does the luggage handling work? When we arrive at Orlando Intl airport, do we pick up our luggage or does a cruise representative pick it up and put it on the bus? Thanks in advance for helping this first time cruiser!

Hi eeyore13! Do you have transfers included in your package? If so, DCL will pick up your bags from baggage claim for you and transport them to the resort. You will meet the DCL representative and proceed to the bus to the resort.

They will also transport your bags from the resort to the port for you and they will be delivered to your stateroom. The only time you will have to claim your bags yourself is after the cruise as you pass through customs. They will then be loaded on to the DCL bus with you as you head back to the airport.

Also, don't forget to put on your blue luggage tags before you check in at your home airport.
