Brief note to all in ALDIO-- WOTD is going to take a short break. I had cataract surgery on my left eye this morning, and I'm working with my bad right eye until the newly restored left eye "comes on-line" so to speak. Everything's cool, there's a good possibility that I won't have to wear glasses after all these years

Thank you for empathizing with the burden of being the primary testosterone provider, I'm looking forward to the return of Willy to share this responsibility.

Just reading about your eye, Ron. Good to hear all went well and you are on the mend. I will need the same some time. The eye doc keeps saying 'not yet'.

Boo to everyone in ALDIO! Love the pic of Jo's cat, I'll assume that hat didn't last too long. Not only will our kitty not be dressing for the occasion, she'll probably become annoyed with the doorbell and run off to an upstairs bedroom to sleep through the evening.

Looking forward to DGDs 4 &5 yrs old coming by tonight. The oldest is Snow White this year, I think her sister will be Belle. Additionally, my daughter from out of town has decided to cook up something with her twin sister to wreak havoc & hilarity at DDs workplace.

Still wearing a patch over my left eye, the novelty is going to wear off after Halloween is over. Remember to ration your candy--It has to last until Christmas.
For those who don't observe Christmas it's till the end of the year

I'm in frantic mode here, our trip is just around the corner and anything and everything that can go wrong (in general) is going wrong ****. As a consequence the mood of the day is STABBY so I'm probably just going to read DIS as bound to get myself into trouble doing too much posting

Evil twins were sent off the camp this morning so it's only the teen and myself. I've decided that I won't be bothered to cook dinner tonight - yes I know this at lunchtime, so we're going to the pub.

Oh, and weather is awful, awful, awful - just to keep it on topic.
