Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

I'm in frantic mode here, our trip is just around the corner and anything and everything that can go wrong (in general) is going wrong ****. As a consequence the mood of the day is STABBY so I'm probably just going to read DIS as bound to get myself into trouble doing too much posting ;)

Evil twins were sent off the camp this morning so it's only the teen and myself. I've decided that I won't be bothered to cook dinner tonight - yes I know this at lunchtime, so we're going to the pub.

Oh, and weather is awful, awful, awful - just to keep it on topic.
I'm glad your trip is right around the corner. Spending time on the DIS is fun, and sometimes educational. :D
A pub lunch or dinner sounds delicious, enjoy!! :flower1:

We are full speed ahead to retirement. We've gotten positive word from the new practice and university hospital that will be caring for my dh, so that's a huge relief. I've booked hotels and yesterday booked our airfare. It's a challenging and exciting time, but we are both looking forward to being closer to family.
Now...I need to start packing. In several months we'll be on our way. :flower:

Sorry to interrupt! Has anyone heard from King Shultz or know how he's doing?
AFAIK, We have not. He continues to be in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully one of these days he'll sign on and check on his thread here. It would be great to hear from him. :goodvibes

How exciting for you Gwynne! :goodvibes

It's a pseudo Thanksgiving day here at Chez Micca! Our DD that lives out of town isn't sure she can make it for Thanksgiving later this month, so we're going to have a traditional turkey dinner tonight with all the side dishes. DD loves to cook big feasts, so she'll be here early afternoon to get things rolling. The turkey is huge, so I'll have leftovers to share here;)

@gwynne are you moving a long distance from where you are now? Have fun with the packing (as if that's possible!!)

And now a break for the weather:cool1:

It is 66!!!! On November 2nd in Massachusetts- wait what:thumbsup2

I also got surprised last week with a WDW trip. DH is not a Disney guy but it has been a rough year for me. Now I know why I keep him around

The only thing better than Turkey dinner is enjoying the leftovers for a day or two after. Yum! Enjoy!

We are moving about 9 hours away. After so many years of moving around it's kind of nice to think this is where we plan to stay.:goodvibes

Awesome! Is the WDW trip and the cruise all one thing? Can't tell for sure from your signature.

Lol no. I was actually surprising my DH with cruise for his birthday. He found out because I used CC that is his primarily on airline tickets didn't realize I was saved to Jetblue. So had to confess.

That is when he revealed the Disney trip.

Disney is end of January, cruise is May 7 !

Ok we are very O'Henry. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

O'Henry was the first thing I thought of as I was reading your post. Funny, yes, but also very sweet.
