Another just got POP!!!

I've been calling everyday to extend my dates, This morning I called and got not the nicest CM on the phone I made my request and immediately she says "Sorry, no availability" So I called right back and Viola I was able to get the dates I wanted. I had POP from 8/26-8/31 and I was able to change to8/26-9/5

Congrats! I've been calling every morning and this morning did NOT get a very nice CM. No Availability. But I want September 8-22nd....so...maybe a little harder. For some reason the disney site is not letting me check availability. I wonder if they are adding new rooms!!!! Longshot I know...lol. I'm probably the only one who can't check availability.

The same thing happened yesterday.

I only need one night August 31.

I'm about ready to give up on POP. Last night I canceled Sports and booked Movies, but I was still hoping to get POP. (August 26-September4) So far it's not looking good.

Be sure and call the next two Mondays. Disney Visa holders unpaid ressies will fall out of the computer, then the general public's.

Wow! Great news for many of us. It's nice to see that many can change their choice of resort, wonder why there was so little availability at certain resorts when free DDp started last Thurs???

call back and ask for 8/26-9/5 for some reason, that's showing availability??? I think it's because it a 10 night stay???

We only wanted to extend thru the 3rd but it kept coming up as unavailable when we bumped it out to the 5th it was available.

Alot of us noticed the glitch in the system. Seems if you put in a longer stay the availability is better, but when it's a shorter stay the same rooms don't show up. It is strange that it's doing it this way, but not unexpected considering how screwie the WDW website can be.

I think their marketting department strategy is to encourage longer stays. Even without this particular promo there have been others where you won't find availability unless you put in a "magic" number of days. I like playing around on the website to find availability but it's totally frustrating for someone who can't be flexible for dates.---Kathy

I was able to get a switch to Pop this morning from ASMo but I settled for a preferred room. I had rather have a standard, but I am not complaining, I did get the resort that I want.

I was also able to add 3 nights to our existing reservation at POP which I wasn't able to do last week. We'll now be there from 9/16 - 9/29.

I was able to swtich my ressie back from CBR to POP for Sept 3-9th, after reading here they opened up rooms again......

Add me to the list JUST SWITCED TO POP
And added an extra early day due to the airline schedule.
Going Sept. 21 to Sept. 30.
Web site indicated POP was now available for those dates so our travel agent switched us and had no problem. So excited!!!!

I called in yesterday to try to switch our ASMu to pop, for the 21-27, no go...but if I was willing to book 20-27 I could do it. So I did and then could call back to change the date later with no penalty. A CM actually said, "I cant tell you to do that, but there is no penalty to do it and you certainly wont lose your room if you change the dates later on. They are trying to encourage people to book a longer stay by offering them more resort choices"

I'm so happy it wworked out for you. My friend and get a big kick out of looking at your son wiped out on the bus. We're staying at POP 8/27-9/3
moms and kids only!!! We were able to book 4 rooms on the first Visa day!
