Another June Travel ?

How busy and hot is it to travel to DW about june 4 to 9......or do we give up and go next spring?

Granted it was 2001, but we were there from June 5-10 and it was not too crowded. Magic Kingdom got crowded (it always does) but the rest of the parks were empty. And even though MK seemed crowded, it sounds like there are times it gets a lot worse.

We were there the first week of June in 2003, and found it to be very hot, wiltingly so. I will say, however, that we did not take afternoon breaks and that probably had a lot to do with it. I also remember hearing that it was rather unseasonably warm at that time (90s every day and very humid). We found MK (of course) to be the most crowded, but it being our first trip don't have a frame of reference for how crowded it was in comparison to others times of year. We got a lot "done" in the mornings before about noon, but after that things got busier of course. We're planning on trying it again in June 2005 (the minute the DDs are out of school!) so it obviously wasn't too bad! Have fun-

This will be our 3rd June trip. It is hot, and it is crowded, but since you know that going in you can go prepared. A few things that we found really helped with a June trip:

1. Take advantage of EE as much as possible. Hit the big rides early, before the heat sets in.
2. Also take advantage of the later summer hours. The heat isn't nearly as bad once the sun goes down.
3. Stay onsite so you can take afternoon breaks at the resort. Swim or just relax in your room. This gets you out of the worst of the heat and crowds.
4. Drink lots of water and use sunscreen!
5. Take full advantage of fastpass.
