Another "funny things kids say" thread

Maybe it's just me, but my great big 12yo still makes me laugh.

We were watching the news this morning, and the first thing that came up was a piece about a whole bunch of young teenage girls who had camped out on the street for several days in order to buy tickets to see Justin Bieber.

"Wow," said my 12yo son, wide-eyed. "I wonder how long they had to save up to do that?"

"I don't think the tickets are all that expensive," I said.

"But look," he said. "They've got tents... and a generator!"

"Maybe they borrowed them from someone?"

"But that girl said her generator just BROKE!" My son looked appalled.

I bit back a laugh and just said, "Then I guess she'll be paying that one back for a long time."

"Yeah... Man, that's gonna be rough for her." My son sounded like he'd just witnessed a plane crash or something, live on TV.

For some reason the idea that my son really believes these girls have to pay for their entire Bieber-stakeout all by themselves just cracks me up. :lmao:

Ooohhh! I forgot a really funny one!

DS let loose a really loud "toot". He looked at me and stated, "I didn't fart. My butt burped."

My son isn't talking yet, but I have great one from when my cousin was about 2 years old. It was Christmas Eve and he had been running around the basement and then decided to go upstairs. On his way up the stairs he was breathing hard. I turned to him and asked, are you out of breath? To which he replied, "No, I got More" I thought that was too funny!

When my youngest DS was about 4 years old he said his favorite singer was Jimminy Buffett. :rotfl: We are of course big disney fans and Jimmy Buffett fans.

My friends 2 year old little boy was over one day, and he was looking at my shirt. I had a picture of Winnie the Pooh on it. They didn't have cable in their house, and my friend isn't a big Disney fan. (yes it is her one flaw:confused3) So I was telling him this is Winnie the Pooh. When my friend came to pick him up he pointed at my shirt with a big smile on his face and yelled "SHAMPOO." It was so funny.
