If in Epcot I book soarin and 2 others and then cancel the 2 others, I have read after my soarin, I can go to kiosk and get TT. Is there anyway to do this through MDE app to make it easier?

in july i had an awesome expereince changing my fastpasses.

we were schedule for soarin, spaceship earth, and living with the land.
we went on MDE and selected to change spaceship earth. we were surprised when test track and maelstrom popped up as options to change it to.
we changed it to test track thinking it would tell us we couldn't but it actually let us do it.
so then we selected to change living with the land and again tier 1 options came up so we changed it to maelstrom and again it worked.

so we had 3 tier 1 fastpasses and were very pleased.

i know people will claim this was impossible but obviously its not if i did it.
