Another Fantasmic Dinner Question

Just to clarify, if I reserve ahead of time for the fantasmic package for Hollywood & Vine, I will pay more for the buffet than if I just went to H&V on my own and then went to Fantasmic. Is this correct? If this is the case, I would rather do H&V on my own and then go over to Fantasmic. Do you think it is necessary to make restaurant reservations for Fantasmic the first week of December?

Yes, that is correct. The price is a bit more than if you did it w/o the package. I would make a PS to be on the safe side.

I was told yesterday that the price for dinner at H&V is $19.99. So it is not as much extra as you might think. Actually once you add in the 15% tip it is exactly the same amount $22.99.

Prices for several of the buffet meals have recently gone up. It does not surprise me at all that the H&V price was increased as well. I thought it was odd for the FDP price to be more than the buffet alone.

We've been to WDW the first week in December every year since 1998. IMHO, you do not need the FDP to get a seat for Fantasmic during this time. I'd only get it if I planned or wanted to eat dinner at one of the participating restaurants anyway.

I have talked to 3 different cast members on the Priority Seating line and they told me that it was not included in the Deluxe Magic Plan, but I heard somewhere that it is included (and it was confirmed here).

Does anyone know what I should say? Anyone else I should call?
