Another Disney transportation ?

Leaving from SSR, what is the best way to get to another resort for breakfast? Are DTD busses running to resorts around 7:30 in the morning?

Generally speaking, the best way to get from one resort to another is to get to a park, then go from that park to the destination resort.

I would never take that DtD bus, as they are rather infrequent and slow. I'd figure out which park is closest to the destination resort, take a bus from SSR to that park, then take whatever transportation gets you from that park to the destination resort. You didn't specify the destination resort, so I can't be any more specific than this. Buses start running to each park about an hour before each park opens, maybe earlier in some cases.

We are staying at SSR and going to Boma's for breakfast at 8:15. AK opens at 9:00 that day, so does that mean the busses from SSR will start running to that park at 8:00. That will cause me to be late for my ADR. Any other suggestions--besides driving?

If you have a car, I would most definitely drive.

But Disney often takes into account the early opening times of restaurants within parks and/or within resorts close to them. However, keep in mind that MK might open at 8 AM that day, meaning you could catch a bus there as early as 7 AM. I'd look for the earliest opening park that day and take a bus there, then from there to AKL. Unfortunately, except for driving, buses are the only transportation going to AKL. Keep in mind there will probably be a morning EMH at one of the parks, meaning buses would run even earlier to that park.

If you have a car, driving would be much faster, simpler and more direct. You're allowed to park there for 3 hours. Then you could drive back to SSR or to the park you wanted to go to (parking is free at the parks for resort guests).

For EARLY ADR's at a resort, I still will happily cough up the $15 - $20 for a cab But, that's just me. And for other stuff, I happily take the busses.
