Another Disney Store validation....

Ok, that is like every Disney Store in our state!

Seriously, I live in Indiana and the ones listed there are the only ones I even know of. And our store has a "now hiring" sign in the window! So I thought we were going to be in the clear.

Is it because all our malls are Simon malls???

I don't know...the mgr I talked to at Castleton last night said that there were no Indiana/Simon Mall stores on the list(he was told this by someone else).
We go ALL the time to that one and its ALWAYS packed. I'm pretty upset. That would mean there would be no Disney Store in the state???? This is what it looks like to me.....

Whats Oh and MI keeping?

When I clicked on images it gave me about 6 choices to download. Which is the one to download? The main document is NOT the right one. It only had 41 pages.

If you can download the document uploaded on 4/3/2008 that is the one most stores downloaded the day after it was posted. You have to page back to document number #91.

By any chance are you refering to TDS at Glenbrook mall in Ft Wayne?

If you're talking about the mall we go to...NO...that would be Castleton in Indy...I thought there was one in Ft. Wayne..is it a Simon Mall??

Well, that's mine! Actually, I was just there yesterday & the manager told me about this buy-back situation. She was not very hopeful that ours would be bought. I guess not! Glad I decided to use my credit! Bought a new snowglobe! Now only buying on the net is available. I don't like buying on the net!!

They changed the files since the first upload, it used to be one giant document.

pooh2001, I am with you. Unfortunately, if the list posted by Violet Crayon is correct, the Galleria store is on the chopping block. That will leave us with the Woodbury Commons, or the Pallisaides mall. Either of those is quite a drive. I am at the Poughkeepsie mall pretty much every week, but I can't see me making regular trips to the Pallisaides. Woodbury is a bit closer, but it's still a ride.

The only Disney Store left in Richmond, VA (or anywhere near Richmond) is on the closing list (Virginia Center Commons , a Simon mall). I'm really hoping that Disney is just closing this store & is reopening at one of the new malls in Richmond (Short Pump Town Center or Stony Point).

I can't find anything when I click the link....but the store in Ft. Wayne isn't on the list in a PP to NOT be acquired by Disney...so I guess that means a 90 minute drive vs a 45 min. drive. I can deal with that as long something in this state stays open!

Doesnt matter anyway, they closed it about a month ago. It was so nicely decorated too verryyyyyy disney themeed.

I JUST started working there this week and would hate for it to close before I even finish my training! My manager isn't sure if we're staying open or not, because we are an older, smaller store but we also do the most business in our district so it's a tossup.

Thank you both SO much for looking up my store!! I'm so happy to see that we're staying open! That job is my vacation money -- so it's VERY important to me, haha! I hope we do remodel, I really love the look of the newer stores and ours is small, cramped and a little worn looking. But still the most fun job I've ever had! And I'm REALLY hoping for CM discounts in the parks by the time September rolls around, how great would that be?
