Another Disney Deal at Target

I found the 13 inch Mickey TV and the DVD Player on clearance at Target . The TV was $50 and the DVD player was $35. I have always wanted these (for myself) , but I put them in our son's room. They are so cute!! I don't know if they will go any lower. I was lookng for the $32 portable DVD player, but they were out. Oh well. Just thought someone might want to know.

I called 15 Targets in NJ yesterday and either they don't have them in stock or they're still regular price ($99 for TV and $69 for DVD player). Why can't all stores have the same items on clearance?

I did find out something interesting though. Supposedly there are two different TV models - one that has the connections (#1350C) for the DVD player and the other that doesn't (#1300C). I'm wondering if the older models are the ones on clearance. This will help get rid of them and make room for the more current models. I went to a Target near my house last night and the one they had for $99 was the newer model.

Can you check to see which one you have? This will help me decide if I should keep looking.

Hi Piglet33,
I just checked the model # of the one I found- DT1350-C. The DVD player fits perfectly under the tv, and even has special "grooves" for the feet of the TV. It also has a little plastic tab with a screw in it to hold the two pieces together better. The sticker says that it was manufactured May 2005. Maybe the Target messed up. I was hoping others could have taken advantage of this too. Don't give up.

Remember if you call the store asking for the item it sometimes kills the deal because the employee realizes what a good deal it is a puts it up for them to buy.

My DD would just die to have those. I'm not telling her though. We have informed our kids....no TVs in their rooms, ever. Mean Parents! There have been studies done that children with TVs, Game systems, etc in their rooms do less well in school compared to those without. I'm not taking any chances.

Our Target clearanced out the DVd princess player display in June for $30 so I picked it up then, but I still havent found the TV on sale I though I would by DD's bday but I am running out of time and will probley just buy it tonight instead of hoping and waiting. Good deal to those who found it!
