Another "dis" furbaby gone ...:-(

I just returned from 3 days of wonderful bliss at WDW.........before I left I had noticed that one of my kitties, Mouse was a little off. She was dignosed with cancer and had a tumor removed in March, but I didn't really think to much about it and thought when I returned on Thursday if she was still "off" I would take her to the vet. Well last night I woke up at 3 :15 am and thought something happened, I was in a dead sleep and all of a sudden I am wide awake! Called my dad in the morning and he said that Mouse had passed away during the night!
Mouse was only 7 years old, I had found her in a Kmart parking lot where someone had dumped her! She was kinda grumpy and didn't get along with anyone in the house, she spent most of her time out on the closed in patio, but I will miss her...........seems there have been so many of us that have lost pets this spring.
Although I knew she had cancer I just didn't expect her to go this quickly, I have more or less been preparing myself for Binky leaving me since she is now 20! It's so hard losing a 4 footed friend

I'm so sorry, I can totally relate, we have a 16 year old cat we didn't think would pull through to come home from the vet, but he's home, but we know that now we must live every day with him as he doesn't have many left...

It's incredibly difficult to lose our friends...

I too lost a furbaby on May 9th...my heart aches today and every day.
Your baby found 'you' in that parking lot as mine found me too. Mouse was blessed to be so loved and so missed.

I have already told puppy in my signature that he's not allowed to die until I'm good and dead. I couldn't bear it. He's my world!
