Another Dining Question

When do you have to have all your credits used by?

I have a split ressie, Does the dining plan end at Midnight the night of my checkout of the hotel I have the free dining with? or Right when I check out?

Don't know how it works checking in at another resort though. I assume you just keep track of your different KTW cards and use the "old" card 'til midnight. We have checked out early morning before park openning and used DDP the rest of the day 'til we left WDW around 6:30 p.m. without any problem.
