Another DDE Card ?

How long does it take the get the card if you buy it from home before your trip..........I hope I havent waited too long....

You can get it at WDW. I bought mine at Guest Services at DTD, no need to buy it before you get there.

No need to worry just buy it at any Park Guest Relations (including the back gate of Epcot) or DTD guest relations. It only takes a few minutes.

The last time I ordered one...two months before my trip.....it wasn't shipped to me at all, they had me pick it up at EPCOT after I got there.

Drats - we arent going to be on property until the last half of our trip but have need for it before then....I was trying to avoid making a stop at DTD just for this card.....

When I just ordered mine in May - I had it in about 8-10 days from the day I ordered.

My DDE expires 7/31 - right in the middle of our upcoming trip! If I understand correctly, I can just go to a Guest Relations window (like the one at International Gateway at the back of Epcot) and renew on the spot?

When I ordered my last one in January it took less than 2 weeks to arrive. I wanted to order mine so that I got the hard plastic card and since it expires in January 2009, and that is when we'll be there, the expiration was OK for me. Normally you would want to crunch the numbers. (We used or will use our card for January 08, April/May 08, August 08, October 08, January 09) so we got our savings out of it.

Give them a call as I believe they can fax you something in advance. Seems like they did this for us a couple years ago before we got our card in the mail.

Just in case -- if you don't have your AP yet (and only have the voucher) they won't sell it to you by fax/online. I tried that but they wouldn't do it until I actually traded in my voucher for the AP. I just did both transactions at MK guest relations.

Thanks all....my AP is activated so I faxed in the form.....now to see if I get it as quickly as some of you have. (although I am not positive it went through....hopefully it did as I am hesitant to redo it)
