Another Christmas Parade Question

I thought that the Christmas parade was only being taped on Dec. 3rd, but in my mousesavers newsletter it says Dec. 2nd and 3rd. Just wondering because our last park day is Dec. 2nd and I want to plan accordingly. I really dont want to hit big crowds.

The bulk of the filming is scheduled for December 3 , but yes, December 2 and 4th are also scheduled filming days. Once you get off Main Street it is not bad. Just plan for mass chaos on Main Street and a great day in the park once beyond that. You can always take the train to wherever you are heading and avoid the chaos.

Does anyone know what time they start with the filming on the 2nd? I would like to avoid it altogether. We should be there at park opening and Im just hoping they wont be ready to go that early. Thanks for the info.

Hi,
I do beleive that they start the filming early, before the park is open to the general public. When I went to the website to sign up to be an "extra" for the parade taping, it said the early morning session was "early morning to late morning." I think of early morning as in the 7am ballpark...

The website says there are 2 filming sessions on friday, morning and afternoon. I would avoid MK on friday, too, due to the fact that it closes early for MVMCP. But I imagine Saturday will be chaos, due to MK being open until 11pm that night, along with the filming.
