Exactly what I have been reading over the past weeks.
Now no flames please, but OCCASIONALLY The Dibb posts some info that makes you wonder where the info came from. Not sure if it's still there, but last year on their dining section they advertised that a great aspect of the DDP was being able to share with friends or family who don't have it
Anyway, I do remember noting that FTB would be open again before we get there at the beginning of October. Unless it has changed, which is not impossible.
They are doing refurbishment. Speculation is that they will be adding indoor seating, but nothing has actually been confirmed so at the moment it seems like we are relying on rumours for anything oustide the fact that it is closing for refurb.

Somewhere I wanted to eat since it opened but never have because no indoor seating(Karen has a bird phobia) so if they are adding it that would be great.
Birds are extremely confident there! We don't mind them at all but for someone with any kind of fear it would be horrendous. I can appreciate that a covered extension would be a good thing - I remember sheltering from an afternoon shower over our dinner there. We got totally soaked as the water just blew in under the canopy. We wished we had gone to Pizzafari!!

Funny, I have always wanted to go there because I like the look of the seating area, but since I don't eat food on the bone, beans in sauce, coleslaw..... it needs to be quiet enough to stop in for a drink.
We always go to Pizzafari in that part of the park because they do gluten free pizzas for DD which are really nice.
Its the only park we really struggle with for counter service, indoor seating at flaming tree BBQ would be a great addition for us.
We don't eat pizza, we used to like Tusker house before they changed it so we tend to eat in Restaurantosaurus now.
