Another AKV Question

I have a reservation for mid-Sept in a SV studio at the AKV. Does anyone know if the animals will be on the savannah or have they been moved due to the construction? If they're not going to be out there, then I guess I have no reason to stay there in a SV.

The animals are still there. One of the cutest pictures I've seen is of the giraffes watching the construction, like they are supervisors!

I could have sworn that one of those giraffes had a construction hat on! I am pretty sure that I saw it!

WildernessDad and Inkmahn--thanks for the replies. I'll be looking for that giraffe!! LOL

I've always wanted to stay at the AKL, but being a DVCer, I didn't want to use that many points (and I'm too cheap to spend cash). Now that the AKV have opened up, I am really looking forward to this trip and to staying at your new home.

(And if I see that supervising giraffe, I'll get a picture and post it!)
