Ed feels that one load of wash should consist as much as one can physically shove into the washer's tub and should include every color of the rainbow. Oh, and hot water, to make sure the clothes get really clean.

When we were first married, he put a cashmere sweater of mine in with his tee shirts and washed them in hot water...... Never Again!!!

We can't wait either. We got our Magic Express packet yesterday and I was acting like this: . Kind of weird looking standing in the hall of our apartment building by the mailboxes, but I didn't care. Drop me a PM when you want to firm up details.

Ha! I don't let my hubby do laundry for the same reason. He ruined all my silk things when we were first married. aRGGHH. I prefer to keep him far far away from the laundry. I saw some lime green crocks and bagalini's at WDW and thought of you. I also thought of your nice passporter when I spilled water all over our itinerary, tickets, and drenched the entire contents of my purse. I thought....this is why KathyRN has a passporter. If these things were in a passporter, they wouldn't have gotten wet. I thought of that many times over the extent of the trip....

(Does anyone remember that Rita Moreno character from The Electric Company ??) Yes, that was a show from back in the days when there were only seven TV channels (2,4,5,7,9,11, and only one PBS station, channel 13). Egads, showing my age again!

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say Hi (or "Hey" as DSS(17) from N.C. would say)

I've been prevented from DISing as much as I would like; partially because of the "usual suspects"... work, back to school meetings, soccer season, and other family obligations.... but, I probably won't be able to get on today either because Billy had what we think was a seizure at school yesterday, and so in addition to all my other errands, I need to look up a pediatric neurologist today and make an appointment so he can be evaluated further.

It looks like he had a petit mal, or absence seizure.... he just "zoned out" and stared fixedly into space for a good 4-5 minutes and was quiet and unresponsive. When he finally did respond, the teacher and aides said he complained that his eyes hurt him. Definitely has all the hallmarks of that kind of seizure.

We took him off the OCD medication on advice from the psychiatrist.

And so.... I will probably not get to an update today; perhaps tomorrow. I'd appreciate any prayers and pixiedust you would like to send. Talk to you all soon!
