Just got back from Universal!! I will try to do trip report later tonight! Need to catch up on wash=)
We bought our passes and on property rooms through Universals site. We payed $ 530 for 2 nights at RPR and also included the 3 passes for 2 adults and 1 10yo..it was the 2 park 2 day pass /3rd day free. Thought that was a great deal.
We have been going the past 3 years the first weekend of May. We are planning to go next May also. So, we thought we would look into updrading to the annual pass...so glad we did!
WE decided that the Power Annual pass a better deal for us..it has summer weekends blocked out..Spring week blocked out..and a week from Dec 24-Jan1. It does not include free parking(but if you stay on property you would still have to pay anyway) and not some of the discounts on restaurants.
To upgrade to this pass, we only had to pay $13 more for each ticket!! Total cost was $42 for all 3 of us now...and we will just go before it expires next year.
So, if you think you might be going again for another trip in the next year...i would definitly say go for it and upgrade!! Now to upgrade to the other annual pass, with no blackout dates and the free parking in the garge...it would have been $70 per person.
Anyroo, just thought I would share and give you something to think about.
