Annual Passholders:rates?

I haven't been to WDW since they changed the annual passholder program to the Best Rate deal. I've read it over and don't think I like it... Anyway, for those of you who have used it...was it a good deal? how much did you save off of the regular rate? what are some rates you have actually gotten? I'm thinking about going this summer and that would be regular rate season... thanks.
