How many rooms are you able to reserve under one annual pass? If reserving for others, is one annual pass enough to reserve multiple rooms.

1) One room per pass
2) Example:
. . . Husband is only passholder = 1 room
. . . Husband and wife are passholders = 2 rooms
3) You used to be able to reserve three rooms per pass.
4) Too many discounts were being given out.
5) WDW changed the rule.

You used to be able to book more rooms but can't anymore and you cannot book for others.
However, for the November trip, I was able to book 2 rooms with 1 AP because 1 room was for the children.

Same here. We need 2 rooms since we have 5 kids and I was allowed to book 2 rooms with one AP.

I recall that the rule was that one AP holder could book up to three rooms. The passholder had to be present to check in all three rooms.

I do not know if this is still the case, or when WDW changed that rule.

Here is our situation - we have a family of four, all with annual passes. three of which are 10+ tickets. We are also booking a room for our parents, who are not passholders. Should we be able to book both rooms with our passes, but not in our name/address? If not, would we be able to place one of the children on our parents' reservation and receive the discount? any money we can save is helpful!!

They changed the rule. 1 AP=1 room

Maybe if you're paying for all of the rooms and have all the reservations put in your name only, it might work. Also, putting 1 of your kids in the room with your parents is a good idea. All you can do is try. If it doesn't work, there are some great pool villas or condos 5 minutes from Disney that might work for y'all.

You're welcome and have a great trip!

so if you have kids & need 2 rooms can you still get the ap rate on both rooms? also does anyone know if theres an extra charge for connecting rooms? thanks!

Yes, you can get 2 rooms with AP if you have children travelling with you.

No, there is no extra charge for connecting rooms. People say that they are not guaranteed but every time I've made reservations for connecting rooms when travelling to WDW with my daughter, the CMs have always said that they are guaranteed and we've never had a problem. This has been true for at least 2 trips/year for 7 years.
