annual passholder rate more then SMSM!

I've been checking universals site almost daily, finally an annual passholder rate came up in the search - and for my stay is 300$ more then the stay more play more rate! I think that is crazy. Does anyone know if the APH rate will ever come down? Or are they basically saying no APH discounts for that time period? We are going in feb for 7 nights.

When are you going in Feb? Dates around President's Day aren't reduced much. Have you checked the Priceline rates?

Thanks. I just checked Priceline. The price per night looks lower but total price is exact same as SMSM rate. Must have higher fees? I did already book SMSM but was hoping for cheaper APH rate. Going 2/8 thru 2/15.

From what I've observed the APH rate is rarely better than the SMSM rate. The main advantage of the APH is you can get the rate on a 1 or 2 night stay where as with SMSM you have to stay 6 or 7 nights to get the best rate.

When I plug in your dates for the RPH, the APH rate totals to $1212.76 and the SMSM rate totals to $1266.30 Those are really good rates.


The other hotel rates may be higher because of lower occupancy available at those times.

SMSM or AP.......

it all depends on the dates.


i booked with the smsm and switched to the ap rate as the ap rate was cheaper for me this month.


recheck when you are a month or two out from your stay.
ap rates can drop sometimes.
