I missed it. My apologies...Yes, we discussed this recently.

Is anyone else concerned that a lot of APs will register for the preview, but not attend the event? I'd really hate to miss out due to someone else reserving a spot and not using it.

Good point. I hope you’re right! No big deal! I’m not too worried. Will people be mean and do it? Of course. But there will also be generous people who know for a fact they won’t be able to attend and WON’T sign up. The closer we get to the preview dates, the less likely people who aren’t scouting these boards will be able to attend/sign up. All I’m saying is that since a lot of people aren’t watching all the time like us, we will be able to get in there faster, book our spots, and then there will be barely any available for those ‘waiting for the email’.
I’m jelly...I also didn’t know that. Sorry! Been at WDW all week last week & only caught up on the last few pages.![]()
Nature of the beast. Disney doesn’t give much notice, they sell out lightening quick and so it’s inevitable people will book first, then try and make it work. I may well be one of those. I wish they did a wait list and cancelling would help if you find you can’t make it work. I doubt there are many who book with no intentions of going. Is anyone else concerned that a lot of APs will register for the preview, but not attend the event? So - what usually drops first - the link online (posted to My Disney Experience under Annual Passholder Special Offers) or does the email drop to everyone's inbox first? Or is it more simultaneous? I may have missed part of this discussion earlier.

Loading fine here.Passholder page not loading?
You mean you should need an on site reservation first? No way. It's not required to be on site to attend so that's totally unfair and would never happen, not should itVery much so.
People without reservations. That intend to go, but ultimately can't make it work.
Dare I say you need a reservation. Then open up to people without reservations?
It's back. I thought something was happening. Silly me...Loading fine here.
Welp - now I'm going to be furiously refreshing like crazy.Link has always dropped before the emails.
Agree that they shouldn’t require it for APs as that wouldn’t be fair to local passsholders, but did just want to note that it WAS a requirement for the DVC Pandora previews, so it’s not without precedent. (And we’ve also discussed that a good many local passholders are likely gold or below, so......)You mean you should need an on site reservation first? No way. I figure if I'm getting notifications that it's all good. And when I did #stay it said I would be enrolled until I said I wanted to leave. I think some folks forgot the # or just didn't read further to realize they need the #stay. So I thought I read that commenting #stay on the groupme wasn't necessary, that removing people was disabled. But I still see people commenting and seeing people being removed for inactivity. I don't want to be annoying and add to it, but don't want to get booted either. Anyone know if it's necessary?
