Hi can anyone explain how annual passes wrk and how I would go about buying them please?

I just read your message to me you can not get he cheap child AP anymore have a look thought the Ap thread on here and ta.
From what you have said it maybe worth you buying a Ap and then just buying a 3 day hopper for you dd.

A quick question about buying a fantasy ap, as it includes emh, on the day i am going to buy it can i enter the park at 8am??
Hope someone understands what i mean

you'd need to buy your AP at Guest Services or the ticket booths, I suspect the ticket booths/Guest Services office are only open from 8am, as thats when the security gates open for EMH. So you wouldn't get in for EMH at 8am, but after buying your AP at the gates of the park you could be in pretty soon after that .
You just have to remember to set aside some time that same day to go to the AP office inside the park with your passports and all of you who are getting APs, to get your AP made permanent.

you need to be present with cinderslg when she buys her AP to use the sponsorship discount etc - so that would be at the ticket booth or Guest Services, she buys an AP, gets a temporary day ticket with her receipt, and thats what she then uses to enter the park and get exchanged for a permanent AP later that day.

I am 99.9% sure that you can not access EMH with the temporary AP bought at the ticket booths - access to EmH only kicks is once you have your permanent pass.

thanks for that - it does look like you can't use a Temp AP to get EMH that day, sorry.

I will say though, last month when we were at DLP no-one was checking whether you had hotel ID/the correct AP to get in for EMH, we were just waved through to the turnstiles, on both mornings we went in for EMH. I did think that was strange, because in the past there has been a rope with a CM at it, checking hotel ID/APs.

Am not sure if that is a new rule or if i was lucky, but 18 months or so ago when i had a pdf ticket for the fantasy pass I managed to gain entry during ~EMH, I did have to explain to the CM what the ticket was and I was let in with oddly a hand stamp with no problems.

Maybe the rules have changed, or they are not enforced, am not sure.
