Spoke to someone at guest services this morning and they said they should be releasing info on Volcano Bay and annual passes later today or tomorrow! Hope this is true but thought I would post either way for those like me who are anxiously waiting!

Thank you so much for the update!!!! I have been anxiously watching this as well since I was able to get a great rate at HRH for 6/3-6/6 but wanted to know which type of pass if any will include Volcano Bay :confused3

No problem :) I'm in the same boat as you and going the same week! I was thinking it was going to be today or tomorrow since their Coca Cola promotion ends today :)

Volcano Bay Day tickets are $62 dollars, and Express (just for this park) is in the $19 to $39 range based on the season.

Where did you find that info? Everything seems to be updating and then disappearing?

Well gotta say I am disappointed. We are taking a trip in July and I would have to buy a 3 park premier AP for us to be able to go to Volcano Bay. No way is that worth it for our family. I was willing to upgrade everyone to preferred passers and hit Vb maybe 2x but at that price point we will maybe go once and pay full price instead.

Yeah all 3 park passes except premier of July blacked out for Volcano Bay (Preferred still has no blackout dates at the other parks). It'll probably be super swamped then anyhow. I can't find upgrade pricing yet, but it still looks like things are being changed on the fly right now.

I agree. I don't understand why they would put blackout days just for Volcano Bay on the preferred pass.

We'll be paying full price for one day tickets as well. We are seasonal pass holders and we'll be letting those expire in the Fall. August will be our last hurrah until 2019, so I'd really like to go once. Looks like we'll need express too. Yikes.

I've had the preferred AP for like almost 20 years and I know Universal is building things left and right but I've seen my AP's price increase like 150% in the last couple of years and I would be fine with that if Volcano Bay was included but when they have significant markups in 2015-2016 knowing in 2017 they're adding Volcano Bay and if you want to add it to your pass there's going to be another good sized price increase then your relatively inexpensive AP for Universal just got pretty expensive.

I Remember the lean years before Universal got popular with Potter in the mid 2000's I think I was paying $99-$119 to renew my pass, then with Potter it took a jump to $159 and I think last year was the BIG jump to like $259 or something like that,I can't wait to get exact numbers for the passes, like the renewal prices and figure out what to do.My pass expires like in July so its good I'll have a few months to see videos and reviews of Volcano Bay,if the place is mobbed I might just opt to get the Disney water park AP or after 2pm pass to avoid the big price jump in my pass at Universal. The way I look at it there's a bunch of months I won't be visiting this park and having APs at Disney/Busch/SeaWorld as well gets expensive.Let's see how much I like Volcano Bay and then I'll decide.

2 park to 3-park Upgrade prices for everything but the Premier is $99, with Premier upgrade being $149. Only real difference for VB with Premier is no July blackout.

All the various upgrade information is up on the Universal site at:

https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/tickets-packages/annual-passes/uoap-renewal/index.html

Looks like they will have an upgrade location to handle the volume for upgrades, a Passholder Upgrade Center at Islands of Adventure from April 3–April 30, 2017, between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm to upgrade your Pass.

It looks like the one day tickets can be bought on the website now for Volcano Bay, $67 for adult,$62 is the child price.

Ugh, I bought DD and myself preferred passes last month with the pay for 12 months, get 15 months promotion. We're 3+ hours away from Orlando and I'm not wanting to make a special drive down there just to upgrade our passes. We're heading down there anyway May 23rd, surely we'll be able to upgrade then?

Yeah, guest services inside the park will be able to do it also, I think they are setting up a special special area just to handle the volume of locals in April.
