I own at BCV. We will be staying there for a week in September, and will be back in April, 2004. Where is the best place to buy an annual pass? Any discounts available? Thanks.;) ;)

I get my annual pass at my local Disney Store and use my Disney Club Card (while it lasts) to get the discount.

After arriving at BCV, you could take a walk over to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot and get your AP. The windows there are usually not crowded.

If you get a voucher at The Disney Store, you still have to go to a window to exchange it.

The 2 previous psoters are both correct. If you have the Disney Club card, you can get a discount on the AP if you purchase the voucher at The Disney Store before you leave. The you take the voucher to Guest Services at any park(and again, the one at the International Gateway is generally not too corwded) and exchange it for the actual AP. If you buy it right at WDW, you won't get the Disney Club discount, even if you have a Disney Club card.

But, from what I have read, you get the tickets cheaper at the Disney Store or online. You do get a voucher that you have to exchange for the AP, but will save money (not time).

I just bought my PAP's at EPCOT and received my Disney Club Discount. It came to the same price as on-line would have. Plus, I got the characters I wanted!

We got our present set of AP's in February at Guest Services at the MK and got the DC discount by showing our card.

The prices on AP's are the same whether purchased in advance or at the parks....we used our DC card for our discount when we purchased at Guest Services at MGM.

You do get a DC discount at WDW for annual passes. Park Hoppers you do need to buy in advance. I got the discount on my AP's in May, I bought them at AK. The only advantage to buying them at TDS is in case there is a price increase before you go.

Do you still get the AAA discount when buying them at a park?

if you can - AAA, gives you a slight discount.
AAA doesn't sell AP's nor do the independent ticket brokers like Ticketmania and Paramount. Only Disney sells them.

minniespal, no you don't. Any tickets that qualify for the AAA discount must be purchased directly from a AAA office. The discount is not available at WDW.

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

In December we actually purchased our AP's at a Disney store at the MCO Airport. The AP's we got there were activated on the spot & we didn't have to go to any other ticket windows once at the parks. This part was very convenient, however, the store was very crowded & we waited in a very long line to get these passes. Not sure I would recommend going this route. Hope this helps!
