Annual pass ??

OK. If I purchase an annual pass for 1 year, can I purchase admission tickets for everyone else in my family and save $8 per ticket? If yes, can that single admission ticket be used for a 2nd day free, just like it would it I had purchased it at the gate without an annual pass discount?

The way I'm calculating things. It saves me a few $$ if I purchase the annual pass, then use the free parking option. Then use the pass to purchase single admission tickets for each member of my immediate family (3 people). It's only a few $$ savings, but also includes 10% on food and drinks and merchandise at Sea World.

Interesting if it can be done. Any thoughts?

That is exactly why we did it. Bought a 1 year pass, for our trip in March for the same reason. Just make sure you buy an adult one not a kids one, because the kids one doesn't allow the free parking. The other thing, in case you buy the 1 year, we actually did the EZ pay, because it is what $8.00 month. Not that we couldn't afford to buy it straight out, but wished we had done this on our first trip 2 years ago. Now on our 3rd trip, and Sea World is our favourite park, my kids beg to go there. Anyhow, if you have any plans to go back in the immediate future, which we won't know until the fall, when your year comes up on the EZ pay plan, they just keep charging you the $8 until you cancel, so your ticket is still good for 30 days!

I emailed them and asked them all the exact questions you just asked last week, and everything you asked the answer is YES to!

If you do the EZ pay option, you're locked in at that price.

My pass is set to "expire" at the end of this month. But starting next month, they will continue to charge me the same price and it goes month to month. So it can be canceled at any time.

Right now I pay 14$ a month for the 4 parks in florida. if I was to get a new one, it would 17$ a month now.


And during the summer time last year, they offered steep discounts for passholders.

Just as others have said, you can do that exactly. Usually, though, advanced purchase on the web, will give a slightly better than $8 discount (adult ticket for child price). Second day is free either way you buy your ticket. You just have to stop at the customer service window before you leave the park your first day. The annual pass also gives you 10% off on most park food and any gifts purchased, another bonus that can really make getting one for your group worth while. I just booked Dine with Shamu with my annual pass and saved $21 for five of us. I got the two year annual pass, as Sea World is so much fun, I'm pretty sure, we'll do a quick get away there next year too.

they offered the all day dining for 1/2 price. They had buy one entree get a free kids meal. Free ride photo at sea world and busch gardens (one per park). Extra discount on merchandise. On the sea world website, they have a passport site that has promos through out the years. I didn't usually use the promos cause i hardly eat in the parks, and very rarely buy merchandise.
ohh and i think they were offering a bigger discount for discovery cove. Which i'm too poor for.

Since they only have 10 day passes we are debating on whether or not to get the annual pass but don't have the money upfront right now to pay for it. I looked on the WDW website but didn't see anything about this. Is this still available?

Yes...it's still available. I pay $8.87/month for just Sea World and that rate is locked in even if there's a price increase.

HI, The 10% discount is for everything you buy, as long as you pay for it! Or it is all paid together! You just show them your card to get the discount! Never had any problems with it!

and you can even show your pass and get a discount on your refillable mugs and food to feed the seals, etc. We all have the 2 year passes for BG/SW, I think its a great deal especially with al the perks!!

That is a very good idea! The passport is also a big help with discounts, your 1.06 mug refills become .95 cents! Haha, I don't know of they are doing this at SW but at BG during the summer if you eat a certain resturants after 5 O'Clock, instead of a 10% discount you recived a 30$ discount. My dinner (a very large slice of pizza, generous side of fries, and a refill) only came to like $5.20ish
