I'm planning to buy an Annual Pass for my trip in September because I'll be going again in January and can probably squeeze another trip in after that before the pass expires. My question is: Where do I buy it? I know that if I get it before, I'll get a voucher that I have to activate on property. Can I buy it at the Disney Store? Online? Thanks.

We buy ours at Downtown Disney at Guest Services...it's near the Team Mickey store. (I think that's what it is called). Anyway, when you buy it here it's activated and ready to go!

We bought our Annual Passes at the Disney Store in Orlando International Airport. We got off the plane, bought our tickets (proper tickets not vouchers) then went to pick up our luggage and we'd do it again :)

How many days do you need to go before you are saving money on the daily passes?

Here's some breakeven information: http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/breakeven.php

Here's a list from mousesavers ( http://www.mousesavers.com/faq.html#apwdw ) on where you can purchase an AP at :
Guest Services Office in Downtown Disney
Guest Services and park ticket booths at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks
Disney gift shops at Orlando International Airport (MCO). There are two: Walt Disney EarPort in the Main Terminal, East Hall or Magic of Disney in the Main Terminal, West Hall.
Walt Disney World Information Reservation Center* in Ocala, Florida
Disney's Character Warehouse and Character Premiere stores in Belz Factory Outlet World, Orlando
Disney's Character Premiere store in Orlando Premium Outlets mall

We booked 6 nights at the Poly at the end of March using an AP rate (I have not bought the AP yet) and we will do 7 day PH for the rest of my family. It was only $179 more for one AP and 3 7D PH than it would be for 4 7D PH. And the room total was $1818 - rack rate on the website was $2910 - that is definitely worth $179!!

You can also buy the vouchers thru disney.com. You will receive the voucher (which is really a plastic card) and then you will need to activate it at Guest Services at any park or at DTD. You can access the passholders section of the Disney website with just the voucher information.

7 Days 0 Hrs 9 Mins 36 Secs till I see :earsboy: :earsgirl: :simba: :stitch: :goofy: :figment: :tigger: :tink: :donald: :dumbo: pluto: pooh: :eeyore:

Thx the websites were extremely helpful! :thumbsup2

This information will be helpful for our August trip. We will be purchasing our first annual passes. :cheer2:

My dad purchased ours through triple AAA as he could get a good rate. We got vouchers at triple AAA. It did not go into effect until we actually walked into a theme park. The next day after we purchased it and got the vouchers we did end up going to the parks and we turned in the vouchers for the annual pass at Epcot. When I renewed my annual pass I did it at the Magic Kingdom. I showed them my old pass to got the discount.

You can get it through the DisneyStore also or other travel agents I believe. Also you can order it right from Disney online here is the link http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketTrans

You can call Disney and buy it over the phone, too. You get a voucher, like a little credit card, which you can trade in for the real thing. The pass is activated the day you trade the voucher in, not the day you get the voucher. So, your year begins the first day you get the pass.
