Please help me calm my nerves or figure out a plan. My 2 daughters and I are going April 27- May 5th and invited a friend with an AP to go with us. We are staying off property. Now I am stressing about her ability to get park reservations. Currently she is booked for our first day and our 2 Studios days (Studios already has no availability to theme park guests the whole trip so we cant change those days + plus one of them is May the Fourth).
Now I am seeing that APs have no available park options at all for the next several Sundays and the next couple days out as well. I am starting to completely stress out about her not being able to go to the parks with us, even if we are willing to switch around parks.
Do I need to be worried? Is it just because of Spring break and Easter and going to be better by then? I looked into staying on property but even with her discount the cheapest rooms I can find would be $2000 more than we are paying now. It was supposed to be our budget trip as we stayed POLY last time and we try to alternate.

No one can say for sure, to be honest. But sometimes Disney does change the allocations in the buckets and will add more. I would just keep checking--people also cancel their plans too. You never know.

Unfortunately this is a drawback to APs right now you only get 3 days at a time (unless you have onsite reservations). She's just going to have to hope for the best. I have a day in May I would like to book, but I have 3 days already booked so I am waiting & hoping. Since she's an AP & knows this I wouldn't be stressing out if I was you. I personally wouldn't want my friend worrying about my AP issue when it's their vacation.

I realize she might not want me to be stressing about it. But I mean, we are driving 12 hours to Florida, if I go to the parks all day it leaves her alone in a hotel room with no car. Im not sure Id be willing to do that. So I am stressing lol

I just checked availability for your dates. For AP holders, there is availability at all parks except May 1st which only has Epcot and AK. All other days are in the green.
