Annual pass renewal question

Thanks everyone. I can officially renew in Oct. I may just watch park reservation availability and buy tickets if it seems to be filling fast for our week in March.

It allows me to make both Park Reservations and ADR's the early morning of 60 days prior.
FYI... tickets are not required to make ADRs, though obviously if the restaurant is within a park you will need a ticket to use that ADR. If you want 60+10 for the ADRs, a room-only resort reservation will do.

It seems last year we were able to renew early for a Feb/March trip. Do you have any idea if they would let us renew now for a March trip next year (to book park reservations). Our expiration is not until Dec.
You’d have to wait till October unfortunately it sucks with the park pass system I know
This may be hijacking the thread and I apologize for that. We are FL residents with Pixie Dust passes. Are we able to upgrade or can we upgrade at renewal? Not sure if that’s possible given they aren’t selling new passes in many categories.
At renewal you should
No upgrades, even at renewal, from what I’ve heard. You can always try.
At least with the old program when I renewed in 2016 I upgraded from silver to gold because having the pass include photopass was more cost effective than purchasing memory maker ala carte for RunDisney weekends

Since photopass is now an add on I “downgraded” to pirate and paid the upcharge….

We tried to do this last week while we were. They would not allow it and our renewal window opens April 24.

Does anyone know how to fix this tech glitch to prevent me from having to call Disney? When I try to renew my annual pass, I select only my pass to renew, when it gets to the check out screen, it switches to my husband's pass. Any thoughts/suggestions? I'd really like to prevent renewing over the phone. Thank you!

Does anyone know what current renewal rates are? We have the sorcerer pass, but are looking at moving up to an incredi-pass because of the new Thanksgiving black-out dates. We can't renew 'till July, but I was wondering what renewals cost now...

You have to renew thru DVC, just did my kids Sorcerer Pass up from Gold - $813.66each total

My wife and I just last week were able to upgrade from the Gold AP to the Incredi-Pass.

I have Epcot After 4 passes that expire in July. Are you saying I can't upgrade it at renewal to Sorcerer Pass?
It sounds like some have. However, I have also read that people were not allowed too. As usual, they are consistently inconsistent. I would definitely try though. It doesn’t hurt.

if you are DVC and have old Platinum passes and are not Florida residents, you can renew as either Incredipass or Sorcerors pass. if you do it by phone it needs to be through DVC.

There are only 4 passes now. I don't know where everyone lives but only the Incredi-Pass is good for anyone. Sorcerer is only good for FL Residents and DVC owners. The other two are only for FL Residents.

If you want to get the renewal discount you need to renew within the 60 day window of your current expiration date either online or at DisneyWorld. I know, there was a problem when I tried to renew online and I found a bug in their software and spent 2 hours on the phone with Guest Services. I still had to go up there. It wasn't that bad for me, I'm only an hour and twenty minute drive.

I was able to "downgrade" my pass from a Platinum to a Sorcerer. I do not know if I can "upgrade" it back to a Platinum.

I renewed Wednesday at Disney Springs Ticket Center- Easy. I had Platinum but downgraded to Pirate- $55 per month. I found the price jump from Florida Resident Platinum to Incredible-Pass too much to swallow. I'm fine with the downgrade since I don't plan on going holiday periods anymore (been there done that). The price is what I first paid when I bought the Platinum four years ago when I first moved to Florida.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong somebody) you only can when you come around for renewal again but to Incredi-Pass since Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc are gone.

I had to buy park tickets for Thanksgiving trip to get park reservations. I then had to call and apply the cost of the tickets to our AP renewals. Ours were expiring the day before our trip. If you have time between the trip and your renewal window and if it’s not a busy time, then park reservations will probably still be available.
Can you do this with Undercover tickets, or does it have to be tickets purchased directly from Disney? I have an October trip coming up and our AP expires in September.

Probably. Mine were from Disney. I don’t know how they determine the ticket price though.
