I bought my annual pass at my disney store in the mall. They could not give me the $100.00 off (because I'm a member). They say I have to get reimbursed downtown disney or at the front entrances of the parks, before I use the card. My problem/question is. I am staying at the BCV and plan on going in the back way to Epcot. Can I get my refund there or possibly at the Front desk of BCV? Anyone know?:confused3 :sad2:

You can probably do it at IG as the ticket booths there sell APs and redeem vouchers. Is yours a voucher? Be sure to have photo id and DVC card. I would think you might need your receipt as well.

The front desks of the hotels don't handle APs.

I haven't heard of the DVC discount being applied retro-actively to an AP purchased at the Disney Store. But you can try at Guest Services...there is a guest services window at the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT.

The resorts do not handle APs at all, so they can not help you at BCV.

Chuck, is that located at the back entrance of Epcot? I would hate to have to go all the way around to get this done. I have to get it done before I swipe the card through the gates. Thank You!

There is a guest service location at the International Gateway as well as the front gate. In addition, there is one at Downtown Disney.

At a Disney Mall Store can you upgrade unexpired days on a hopper pass to an AP ?

No, it can only be done at guest services at WDW.

Then would I have to order the AP by phone, put a down payment on the AP, get the voucher sent you our house, when we go to WDW go to guest relations and give them the vouche and the ticket with the unused days and pay the amount less the down payment and the unused days.
I just want to make sure I get the voucher ordered a few months before we go down to WDW.

There's no "down payment". If you order in advance, you would have to pay the full amount for the AP. I would just wait until you get there to buy the AP.

How old is the hopper pass you have? I believe if it's a MYW, they will not credit unused days.

It's a older ticket hopper last used in 2003 probably got it in 2002 so I don't think it can be used for the AP. We have been getting the MYW tickets each time we went since 2003 so we never had a chance to use them yet. Well some day they are not suppose to expire.
Also we wanted to do the DDP so we would have to buy a single MYW ticket, could that be picked up at the resort and then go to public relations and upgrade to a AP?

DVC members do not have to purchase admission tickets in order to have the DDP. As long as you are a DVC Member staying on points at a DVC Resort, you can order the DDP prior to arrival and pay for it upon checkin.

If you are not a DVC member but have an AP I don't think I would be able to get the DDP unless I bought at least a one day pass along with the booking of the resort.

If you pay cash for your reservation through Disney, you can not book the DDP without a park ticket, it must be part of a room/ticket/DDP package.

If you rent a reservation (AKA renting points) from a DVC member, then let the member know you want the dining plan. Member services will link the dining into your reservation, you'll pay for it at check-in. You can use whatever type of park ticket you wish, from any authorized vendor you wish.
