Annual Pass Purchase

Hi there

Does anyone know if the only way to purchase an AP is online at disney.com? They dont seem to be available on disney.uk. Or can I buy they in the Disney Stores? Hoping for an Annual Pass rate and if so will need at least the voucher to check in.

Hi

I am pretty sure you can not purchase these in the UK and when we bought ours we had to have a finger print taken and everytime we entered the park we had to use the finger print machine at the gates. You can only purchase these in USA. I am not sure if they give you a voucher to take to any park where they will issue the card. When we got one they took our details i.e address, dob etc..

We bought ours at the park when we arrived, as I understand it the shop in the airport sells them but they are actual tickets valid from time of purchase not vouvhers.

I rang disney and bought ours. They only gave me a reference number to quote when we got there though. Is this standard procedure?

We always buy ours and our renewals from the UK. Yes, you cannot buy them online, but you ring up and buy them that way. they give you a reference number to get the cards.

You go to any of the parks (or we go to Downtown Disney) with your credit card used and your ref number and pick them up.

For Universal, you can buy them on line,again to the parks for your picture to be taken but when it comes to renew them, they just update the computer and you use the same photo card without having to wait in line to renew at the parks.

Sea world can be done on line, printed off and then taken to the ticket centre for changing into cards.

I phoned for mine, and last week DHL delivered a lovely little pacakge which is the activation cards which we need to hand over at the park. Well worth it in my opinion. Cost about £220 for each adult for the standard pass and it's saved me a shed load on accommodation and tours before I even get there.

the problem in the past has been that the Disney US sites did not recognise the UK credit card and had no way of confirming that it was not a false purchase.
I am glad to see that has changed.

We rang Disney direct for our APs. The vouchers arrived about a week later via DHL

We ordered ours when the exchange rate was at its highest with our Nationwide CC and ended up paying around £185 each

The illuminous green vouchers you get can be exchanged for activated passes at any park guest relations window. You need photo ID to get the vouchers exchanged.

They do sell the actual activated APs at the Disney stores located in Orlando airport.

Maybe it hasn't - I know I was able to go in and select the passes and get to a payment page. I decided against booking online as I wanted to speak to someone (also the shipping is less if you phone - it cost $3 as opposed to the $10 it says on the website).

You can buy from Disney by phone but no longer online.

I know cos I spent ages putting my payment details etc in only for it to be rejected because of my address at the final 'submit order'

Got a AP rate for AKL 150$ pool view. Now I have the pass I can relax.

He said he was sending out the voucher and I should have it in about 7 days. Mind you. Seeing is believing. Got res number tho. But could do with having the voucher as we land late in the evening not sure where would be open to get the pass.

Actually thinking about it he did charge 3$ for posting adding it on to the total so I will wait and see. Will post if it arrives.

Got my last week - took about 10 days to arrive from ordering.

$150 for pool view @ AKL is fab. We paid $139 for standard (I'm keeping my fingers crossed we get updgraded - I have read a lot about people being bumped up a notch - plus I'm going to lay it on thick about it being my b'day!!) I'll just be gald to be there!
