Annual Pass Gift!!!!!

Hello Everyone,

My fiancee and I came back 2-3 weeks ago from our wedding planning meeting. Yesterday I received in the mail our wedding contract with all the changes and to my surprise 2 annual pass!!!! We were so happy, we weren't expecting this at all!!!
Does Disney give these to all couples that get married there? Or is it because we went thru hell when we were there because they had lost our reservation? ( We had two night at the french quarter reserved and ended up 1 night at the movies and 1 night at riverside, on top of loosing our luggages)

We'll make sure to triple check our resrvation for the wedding week lol

I think I once heard that custom brides get them. Are you having a custom wedding? I don't think the hotel customer service would know enough to contact the wedding people and have them include annual passes for poor service...

I think all custom brides get them.
I know weve made good use of ours (Weve gone 5 times since we got them)

I think all custom brides get these regardless of where you live, and I don't think there's an option to use them for something else. Activate them as soon as you arrive for your wedding and use them as much as you want while you're there. Since I'd heard about this cool gift I made sure we got ours before our planning session so we could at least use ours twice, but it took some work to do that.

Just be glad you won't have to buy park tickets for the wedding week!

Yes I am having a custom wedding, and Diane (our wedding coordonator)felt really sad for us when we were visiting. She even drove us around a little to try to help us settle the reservation problem. That's why I was thinking maybe they gave it as a consolation!!! Guess not.

But we will make great use of them!!!

You can upgrade them; you just have to pay the difference....
I have to say the best part of those passes is when you go into the gate it comes up annual wedding...so the CM's normally ask us how married life is or how the wedding went….makes it so special

We sure do.
It's a shame if you won't get the use out of them. We made good use out of ours with 3 trips (10 weeks in total, OK 6 were for the big wedding holiday).

You could always sell them on ebay or something! I know it's not very nice, or the done thing, but if you won't get the use out of them maybe you could get a few quid they cost around $400 each.

When do you get them? We havent booked a date yet but are planning on going out there next sep to look at everything and book the date so if we got them then we could use them then and then again when we go out for the wedding

If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about getting them before your planning session? Our planning session is Tuesday, and our passes have not come, and I don't know if I should just call my planner tomorrow and ask her about them or not Thanks for your help!

We got them a couple of weeks after we signed our contract!! That was about four months before our planning session!
