Annual pass changes coming........

2016 UG mentioned that they had heard a rumor of a late 2015 price increase this year. Glad we took their advice and got our exchange certificates well in advance of our trip- saved us a decent chunk of money.

Please do let us know, i bought mine Thursday. Finally I was in in before a price increase. Usually I'm after.

When I was an AP holder of DW and DL they gave me the new Premiere passport I thought this would be the same so I called this morning and was told nothing changes with your AP its only when you renew or buy a new one.

Just read a similar report from someone contacting guest relations. Sounds like you have the option of paying the difference between your existing rate and the new prices in order to gain the new benefits. Upgrade must occur in-person at GR.

Just wanted to give an update. I am in the park today. My AP expires next April. It cost me $101 to upgrade. I got all my photo pass photos we have already made. They said I was the first person to do it today! I have 2 more trips planned so good deal for me!

The price of tables in wonderland for AP holders also went up to day, from $100 to $150! :sad2:

Ok.......so with the new prices an AP ($749) for my wife and I that will be (with tax) $1595. I'm working on my original budget of $1500.............so I'm off by $100 . Ok this isn't the end of the world............if they don't raise the price again before Sept of 2016 o_O For me to meet that price I'll need to increase my amount by roughly $5 every two weeks...........that isn't that bad:P

BTW the inclusion of photopass doesn't look to be memory maker to me :rainbow: Anybody else think the same?

Doug :goofy:

I actually read that it went up to $175, but I don't have a link. It was just mentioned in another group.

$175 for Florida Residents
$150 for Annual / Seasonal Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members
Add a second membership for your spouse or partner for only $50 more!

count me in the unhappy group! My husband is a photographer so we never buy memory maker/ photo pass pictures! There is one exception - in 18 trips we did buy one photopass picture - dh had dashed off to get in Merida's line - DD and I ran into Tiana on Main Street and she held hands with DD (dressed in her Tiana dress) and they walked down Main street together - priceless - yes, that photopass picture was printed off in Epcot (first photocenter we found) and purchased there and then as a nice 8x10! So this 'upgrade' for which I will pay an extra $100 per person per year is useless.

Did your expiration date change or is it still April?

That's the kicker. It's per person so a family is going to get hit. Plus it's just the digital downloads which costs Disney nothing.

We have APs & Tables in Wonderland dining card. Got an email about TIW changes effective 10/4. Price has increased to $150 for AP & DVC, $175 for Florida residents. :worried: We are headed down in December, our APs expire in January. Planned to book a bounceback for next September but definately not renewing AP right away. We have 5 days left on an old non expiring ticket we can use. After 23 years of going 1,2, or 3 times a year all the way from Buffalo NY, we might be done. We love Disney resorts & stay deluxe club level, but these constant double digit cost increases with stagnant parks & benefit take aways may have finally worn us down. So sad.
