Annual Pass - can I buy it whilst in the UK

When we last bought AP's we did so in WDW, did not renew them the third year as we could not get in a second holiday and it wasn't value for money! We would like to buy one this year and then get the Disney Dining experience card, so to my question - can I buy an AP on line or on the phone and then collect! when I arrive and how then would I go about getting the DDE card with out the actual AP!

Yes, you can buy an Annual Pass either over the phone or online. What you'll actually receive is an Exchange Certificate which you exchange (not just a clever name ) for your AP when you arrive. You'll be able to use this certificate both to log in the the Passholder area of the website and to buy your DDE card.

The AP will run from the date of first use, whereas the DDE card will run for 12 months from date of issue. The DDE card can take a while to arrive, but it's pointless getting it too soon before you go. I'd suggest applying around 6 weeks before your trip. Should it not arrive in time, they'll issue a letter to take its place.

Remember if you use a Nationwide CC you won't pay any fees for the foriegn currency transaction - so making the AP very good value
