Annoyed with Quality Inn anyone else??

I booked a room at the Quality Inn for a week in May. I just checked my reservation and they have changed the rate on my reservation. So now I am looking at paying over almost $100 more than I thought I would be. I only booked this hotel because of the price I got and I also booked right with the hotel not with a different source. So now I am really debating about whether or not I want to stay there. Anyone else have this experience? What are some other hotel recommendation around the $60 a night price range? Thanks for your help.

wait, they are changing your rate after you have locked in a reservation? Uh uh, no way I would stay there. That's just wrong.

Other hotels --

have you tried for the ent. rate at the HoJo?

Anaheim Plaza is just under $70 for a standard room

Islander is also cheap, but not really walkable.

I'm not sure what your dates are. Have you called the hotel to ask them about the rate change?

If you have an entertainment card or can get one, I would check to see if you can still get any of the entertainment rate dates at the HOJO, of course, I would call first before getting the card to make sure the rates were available for your dates. But you can't hardly beat $59/$74 a night.

How do you get the entertainment card?

You get it by ordering an entertainment book from www.entertainment.com. They are those huge coupon books that many schools sell as fundraisers. You can get a book for your own area, you just need the card in front for hte discount. I would call the hojo or email Lorealle directly at lorealle.bishop@hojoanaheim.com to check if the rate is available on your dates of stay before you even think about buying the book, though.
