We will be arriving at WDW on our 17th Anniversary - early afternoon.

Our two sons 7 and 12 will be with us. I would like to do something fun for dinner that evening. Any suggestions?

We are not planning to going to any parks that day.

I was thinking The HDDR - if I can get ADRs. Or Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

We will have the Dining Plan (with the sit down option).

We want something that we will enjoy as a family...

Any suggestions.

Thanks!

Just joining to see what others say. We will be celebrating our 25th in Aug, but taking our trip in Oct. I have been going through all the menus at the restaurants and trying to decide where to have our anniversary dinner, too.
It is tough to choose.

Congrats and have a great time!

It will actually be our Anniversary on the day we arrive. So we would really like to go somewhere memorable.

If you are looking for something fun, the Hoop Dee Do Revue is great. Its alot of fun. The food is OK, its ribs, fried chicken, corn, beans. But its all you can eat.

We arrived last Sept. on our 15th anniversary and went to the GF Cafe (only wanted to use 1TS) . It was a nice relaxing meal. I had a hard time deciding betwen the GF Cafe and O'hana of all places. I thought O'hana might be nice, fun and get us in the Disney mood since we had just arrived. I went with GF, but later in the trip we went to O'hana. I wish I would have done O'hana on our anniversary. It was just more fun for the kids and the food was delicious. We also had an amazing view of the castle and that sure would have been an awesome welcome to Disney.

Congratulations! Our 17th is in May also!!!! Can you believe it?! Where does time go? I'm really only 29 - got married at a very young age :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

A nice meal is also at Calif. Grill and my two boys love it there. You could watch Wishes from there - talk about Magical - it makes me cry just thinking of it. I bet they would do something really nice if you told them about your anniversary.
