Anna & Elsa Not Available at this time?

Just finished making my FP+ choices for 60 days out and at 12:02 it was already saying Anna & Elsa was not available. I thought I was picking to go at a slower time of year (last week of April) so I am shocked they were gone that fast!

It's because guests with trips that begin before yours are booking before you and overlapping your vacation dates. The FPs for A&E could have been booked up a few days before your window even opened.

Keep checking hourly if it's a priority I'm pretty sure you can get them if you put the effort in

Anna and Elsa are honestly just very popular for face characters even the slow season will be busy for those two

OP, how long is your trip? I'm sort of surprised by this since late April is typically slower and there aren't any hard ticket parties complicating things.

My trip is 4/26 to 5/2. I was able to get every other FP+ I wanted and for the exact times I wanted, that's why A&E shocked me with the big red exclamation point.

I just got FP for A&E on 4/30. Granted, they're at 9 pm so I might have to wake up DD for it, but oh well.

That's a fairly long trip, so I'm a bit surprised that during a low crowd week, you could not get anything. How disappointing.

Makes me wonder if they are offering less staffing for this since they anticipate it being a slower week.

Same thing happened during the slower times last fall and everyone blamed the hard ticket parties. I was never convinced that was enough to explain it away.

OP it is often a good idea to try to book them on the last day of your trip first (just FYI in case you didn't know).

Looks like you are arriving on a Sunday. We have noticed that you have a lot better chance if you are arriving on a Saturday for the week than if you are not arriving until Sunday. A lot of people come in on Saturday and they can fill it up for the week before you get your chance. (We have also noted that people that come in on Friday typically don't seem to have any troubles getting anything they want as they are beating most people coming for the next week). We came in on a Saturday last fall in a non-busy week and still had issues though. I was only able to get them with no issues on our departure day, not any of our MK days (which was our 9th day if you count arrival day). On a mid-week day, it gave me an A&E option for the 3 of us, but when I confirmed, it only gave that A&E FP+ to DD, and moved DH and I to a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse without even warning that it was changing them, splitting us, or not giving us what it showed we were getting. I spent 3 hours that night trying to adjust things, to get what we wanted, get things moved around, etc, and finally managed to get 2 of us to overlapping times that day. Then I spent the next 3 days online all day every day trying to get the last one of us an A&E FP+ that overlapped the other 2, which I was finally able to do. Keep trying- maybe you will be able to switch and get one. As long as you have even 5 minutes of overlapping time, it will work (actually even if you had one that ended 5 minutes before the others started it would work as the Mickey Head will scan green 5 minutes before your FP time, and if not the earlier person could always enter the line and then let people pass while they wait for you to be able to enter). OP, there is usually a cancellation thread running here in this forum. Subscribe and watch there. I do think a lot of folks book every day they can get then release them as they get closer to their trip and their plans are firmed up.

OP, if you haven't tried breaking your group into smaller subsets yet, give that a try. How many are in your party?

darn I was hopeful being that I was booking in time for 60 days. FP is tonight for my trip so won't be surprised now if there isn't one.

Start on your last day. If there isn't anything, be prepared to try for smaller party sizes and go for overlapping times.

The Dibb site is showing availability for A&E from May 1st and onward. Begin booking FPs with the last dates of your trip if it falls in that May timeframe.
