My husband and i were talking to a AK CM a few years back-- we were looking through the veterinary hospital huge window and the CM told us they do surgery on a particular day of the week and it was interesting to watch it through the window---

does anyone know what day it is they schedule surgery?? we cant for the life of us remember what morning it was.

Thanks

I was there on the 11th and they were "fixing" a gekko (or it might have been a lizard). I didn't see a schedule, but not sure if there even is one. Maybe just luck of the draw...

I'm sure there is not a set schedule for anything but routine exams. I know they do have the day's schedule up on a board by observation window, so maybe you could go to Conservation Station and check it first thing in the morning.

My son and I got to watch an exploratory laprascopy on a cheetah a few years ago! They explained that she'd been throwing up a lot and were looking to see if they could figure out why.

There is a particular day they do scheduled procedures I think it is Wednesday but not sure. What I do know is if you want to see something you should get to conservation station early they do the procedures first thing in the morning. I am a nurse and any medical procedure even one on animals interests me but I have never made it to see anything being done.
