Has anyone ever stayed in the AK Value One Bedroom Suites before? I would like to know what they are like?

I have stayed in the value studio, and will be in a two-bedroom value in two weeks. I will post pictures if I can figure it out when we get there.

I didn't mind the studio, it was just my sister and myself. That part of our two bedroom will be for my two DD's. My DS's will have the pull out in the 1 bedroom part and my DH and I will have the master bedroom. I can't imagine it not being enough room.

I know the furniture is the same size as the standard room, and I will admit it was tight in the value studio.

IMHO it is still way better then two rooms at the all stars, and it saves me enough points so we can do Food and Wine with out the kids in Oct.

Yes, We stayed in a value one bedroom in April. It's a little smaller than a regular one bedroom, no pull out chair. Didn't miss it since there are 4 of us. Was well woth the difference in price for us. Loved our room. We had a view of the pool and a little bit of the savanna. We could see the animals right from the balcony.

We had a pool view value 1 bedroom. I think the hardest thing was the tight fit if you wanted to close the door to the bedroom while you were in the bedroom. We were 3 adults, and 2 more who were staying in a studio did come for morning coffee, and we were all fine in the living area for that limited purpose.

The whirlpool/bathtub was a bit hard for us to get into..a wide rim, but we managed. I like the 1 bedrooms better in Kidani with the shower stall, but for the price of the value, we'd do it again. We did it for a weekend, so the point cost was a factor in deciding to get "value."

Sounds like they aren't too bad. I'm planning a trip next May, and one of the choices for us is a 2 bedroom at Animal Kingdom, either value or standard.

I was wondering if the value 2 bedroom would be big enough for myself, my kids 10, 6 and 6, plus my inlaws (6 of us total).

We stayed in a value 1 bedroom this past December and it worked well for us. It was DH, DD5, DD1 and me. The bedroom felt small, but what do you do otehr than sleep or change there? Our bathroom felt huge. The shower & tub are all in one, so it is a deep climb into the shower--not an issue for us. The living room had comfy seating for about 3 people (maybe 4) to watch TV. 4 more could sit at the table.

We would stay in a value 1 bd again. It is still so much bigger than a nromal hotel room. If you all spend a lot of time in your room, watching TV, eat most of your meals in room or that sort of thing, then it might be a bit too small. I think this is usually not a problem at WDW though--most people aren't sitting in their rooms that much.

At Jambo House, all the two bedroom villas are lockoffs - combination of a studio and a one bedroom. So you will have one king bed, one queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa and one double sleeper sofa.

We stayed in a 1BR value back in June and loved it:lovestruc. It was me, DH, DD5 and DD3. We never felt cramped and there was plenty of room for our luggage and gear. It was the perfect size for us, and a great point value too. We had a great savanna view (which was only a request and not guaranteed) and that made it an even better deal. I think the difference between a standard studio and a value studio is much more noticable. The extra 3' in those rooms is almost needed just to store all the cushions and pillows:rotfl:. In our situation, another 3' in the 1BR would have been empty space anyways so the extra points weren't worth it.
