Listen. I am a thrill ride junkie most places but that changes at Disney. I want all the Disney Dads out there to remember, that while Expedition Everest is awesome, you have to see Nemo Musical show.

I am going back in September. Our last trip was November 07 and I still hum the songs from that show in my head. It was hands down the best Disney experience I had on that trip, barely edgeing out Fantasmic!.

I did not catch the Festival of Lion King, but I am sure to go to both this time. My wife doesn't get it, but then again she did DinoLand with daughers while son and I did Nemo. I will drag the girls into Nemo this time believe you me.

I have become a Disney show junkie now. So any tips on the Best of the Best is appreciate.

Festival of the Lion King is spectacular!

The Cast Recording of Finding Nemo the Musical is available for legal download on iTunes.

I agree that Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo the Musical are terrific, but on the non-musical side, Flights of Wonder, the bird show, is really fun, too.

:sunny:

Festival of the Lion King is a must! I like it better than Nemo. You have to see it!! :thumbsup2

Hey Melnry, I go to college at UNCW! Hooray for Wilmington!

And the FOTLK is AMAZING! I sat front row one time and got to make the animal noise for our section. It's awesome!

Flights of Wonder is our must-see.

Followed by FOTLK and then Nemo. We were actually not all that impressed with Nemo. I was a little cranky going in, so that might have something to do with is!;)

Yes, Nemo has AC.

Imprtant tip: Nemo is best viewed from the back. I sat up close one time and missed a lot of the effects. Back row center is perfect.

The Crush song "Go with the Flow" is a joyous and moving moment. One of the great songs in the history of Disney.

I loveFOTLK but also really liek Beauty and the Beast in DHS. I avoided seeing it for several visits. It is Dh's favorite too!

But try to avoid the bench seats in back above the walkway. That is where they put the overflow late arrival folks. The problem up there is that we ended up with a steady stream of parents taking fussy toddlers out walking between us and the show. Toddlers tend to get bored with the Nemo show.

The second time we saw it we sat moderately close to the front, and enjoyed it a lot more.

Festival of the Lion King is awesome! We all liked it way better than Nemo. Beauty and the Beast at DHS is another great one, particularly if you have a little princess!

Yay Port City! :beach:

I agree both Nemo the Musical and Festival of the Lion King are great shows at AK!

Beauty and the Beast is great too, which is over at DHS.

FOTLK was our favorite, I think the one must see show out of them all. Although last time we did not do Beauty and the Beast at DHS so may have to change that opinion after this trip

We saw Nemo where we were the first row of the second section center, just behind the light board area, A CM told us we had great seats and she wasn't lying. That is the area you want to try and get if at all possible.

Much of what we missed last year was shows. We didn't get to see Nemo, FOTLK, Beauty and the Beast, or Flights of Wonder. We intend to see them all this year, as we'll have more time to spend in the parks, know what we're doing a bit more, and have arranged our touring plans a bit to accommodate the shows.

Lion King show is great, but not overly long.

Nemo show was one of the cheesiest things we've ever seen (if the music was any cornier they'd have to sell it in a produce department). The puppets and all are cool, but as a musician I can't stand the songs (and we generally enjoy Disney music - have a lot of it on our iPods).

Flights of Wonder was great - our favorite thing at AK.
