Animal Kingdom Restaurants...

So, we;re thinking of doing Boma for our Animal Kingdom day, but if I'm reading correctly, it's at the AKL. How far is that from the park (can you walk? would you ride the bus, etc?). What other options are there for AK TS?? THANKS!

Boma is inside AKL and is fantastic. However, AKL is too far away from the parks to walk. You'll have to drive or take a bus from one of the parks or DTD to get there. There is another TS inside AKL called Jiko but if you are on the dining plan in requires 2TS instead of one.

The only way to AKL is by bus; you cannot walk from AK. That being said, it's a very short ride and I think it's worth it.

The only TS at AK is Rainforest Cafe. However, the CS are among the best anywhere at WDW. Tusker House and Flame Tree BBQ are outstanding.

I agree that Tusker House & Flame Tree are wonderful! If you are going to AK for the day, I'd eat there. Save Boma for your arrival night if possible. Nice way to get in the spirit.
