In what order would you do the following:

Safari ride
Pangani Trail
FLK
It's Tough to be a Bug
Dinosaur

We will be there at park opening (it's not EMH).

I'm thinking we might have time to see Dinosaur, send everyone over to the 9:40 FLK show, while one person gets FP's for Safari for after the show. What do you think?

Any other suggestions? LOL!

FLK, Tough To Be A Bug, Safari, Trails, Dinosaur is the way I would do it. There's a bit of a walk from Dinoland to Camp-Minnie Mickey, so I find it a lot less time consuming this way. :)

I like the idea of catching Dinasoar if you want on the way to Lion King. Good use of time. Great idea to send one runner to get fast passes for the safari. Try and see what time Flights of Wonder is as you pass by, it's one of our favorite shows, and see if you could work it in somewhere, maybe after lunch. Have a wonderful time. :earsgirl:

Personally, I would do the Safari Ride first. The animals are more active in the morning (this is when they're fed) and if you save it until afternoon, most of them will be asleep.

I agree the animals are very active & the morning & It is also the most popular thing! Do it early!!:sunny:

Will there be a difference in the animals if we go at 9:00 than if we go at 10?

I'm just thinking that if we go see the FLK show and then head straight to Safari, will there be much different in the animals?

luvdis...

If you are going in the summer when it's really hot out during the day, you should do the Safari as early as possible while the animals are still out and about. We were there the first week of April and in the later morning it was warming up, but not hot and we saw lots of animals. I would probably do your list in this order (arriving at park opening):

1) Safari

2) Pangani (close to the Safari)

3) FP ITTBAB on the way to Dinosaur

4) Dinosaur

5) ITTBAB

6) Lion King (FP if necessary)

You could maybe flip flop ITTBAB and Dinosaur...or skip the FPs altogether if the standby times are reasonable. Lion King is now in an enclosed theater and it should be cooler in there even when it's quite warm outside, which is why I'd choose to do it later than earlier. Have a great time!! :)

We don't really care about the heat!

We are only staying for a few days and park hopping to another park after AK. We DEFINATELY want to see as many animals as possible at the safari.

Otherwise, we just want to maximize our time. I've approximated 3 hours in AK. Will that be enough for what we want to do?

Again, we want to cover:
Safari
Pangani Trail
FLK
It's Tough to be a Bug
Dinosaur

Send somebody over to the Safari to get fast passes -- everybody else should go to the first Lion King show. By the time you get out of the Lion King show, it will be time to use your fast passes. The very first Lion King is never totally filled to capacity.

Do you think it's okay to hit Dino before the first FLK show? Or am I squeezing too much in?

How early do we need to be at FLK to get in? We've been before and know that all the seats are basically the same - great!

Unless you love walking trails I would skip those first and do the dino. My two ds loved it dd was a little scared.
