Animal Kingdom or Epcot??? Which would you choose...

My 7 year old Grand daughter and I vote for AK.
Just more to see and do than Epcot at that age.
Camp Minnie And Mickey is wonderful and the Lion king Show wonderful.

Five votes for Animal Kingdom! We have a membership to the Toronto Zoo as well, but AK is a must for us. When I asked the kids your question it was unanimous. DH, (me), DD 8, DS 5, DD 3 all vote for AK (DD 1 doesn't talk much). One of our favourite character breakfasts is at Tusker House as well. You get your picture taken with Donald Duck as you arrive, the food is good and the kids get to dance with the characters. Hope you have a great time!!!

While Epcot is a better park for adults, I think you would have a more relaxing time at Animal Kingdom.
* live shows are awesome. Try and catch Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo the Musical and Flights of Wonder. Many people skip Flights of Wonder, but it is a very entertaining show.
* live animal displays everywhere. Often, cast members have small animals available to look at right at the entrance (baby alligator, small snake, parrot, turtle...). These cast members are awesome with kids.
* The 'trails' are awesome to do at your own pace (with a stroller) and there's always something interesting to see. My daughter liked the bats more than she liked the tigers.
* Conservation station is so isolated it never gets crowded. There's a petting zoo there as well as a several displays of small animals like squirrel monkeys.

Epcot with toddlers is challenging. My kid was great when strapped into her stroller. However, whenever she was free, she seemed to gravitate to the most expensive and fragile store displays all over world showcase. Animal Kingdom shops tended to sell much more resilient souvenirs.

Animal Kingdom! For us it was the better park for younger kids and could be completed in one day where Epcot is huge and takes us atleast 2 full days.

Epcot is my favorite park, but based on the ages of your children I'd definitely have to say AK. My girls love animal kingdom! The shows are fantastic and they love seeing all the animals.

My family and I are coming into Disney for our kids first trip. We will arrive late on Wednesday March 7th and leave Disney area on Sunday the 11th. We've got Friday through Sunday planned, but i'm kinda struggling making a plans for Thursday. What do you think would be more enjoyable for a 22 month old & a 4 year old? Animal Kingdom or Epcot? I originally planned on visiting AK but since we are members of the Toronto zoo, and live fairly close to it, It seems like it might be a better to visit Epcot. We are visiting MK & DHS the other days so those parks are already in the mix. Its just deciding on what is best for thursday....What do you think?? :confused3

We love both parks, but Epcot is a must for us at all ages. Contrary to popular belief, there is a lot for small kids at Epcot. The seas with Nemo and friends and turtle talk with crush for starters. In the world Showcase, going around the countries and making the masks is great for kids of all ages. There's character meet and greets. .. all that to say, I would go with Epcot. ( But either choice will be fun )

Toronto Zoo does not even compare to AK. I'd say AK, hands down. DD had a blast there last year....even in the pouring rain. Which was probably why we had a great time - no lines. AWESOME! I've only been to the other parks at very busy times.
